New Moon in Virgo 🌑 11 September 2026

✦ 2 min

Such changes during the New Moon can include tidying a single drawer, deciding to go to bed earlier, and sometimes saying "no" to whatever drains your energy.

Maybe for you this will be a time to return to your morning practice and to create space to finally hear Yourself.

Virgo is a sign connected with routine, the body, mindfulness and consciously choosing what we spend our energy on. Virgo invites simple changes rather than revolutionary ones.

🌿 What can you leave behind?

Virgo reminds us that not everything in our life has to stay in it.

So during this New Moon you can ask yourself a few simple questions:

What no longer serves me?

What do I do only out of habit?

Where do I give my energy, even though I no longer want to give it there?

What is there too much of in my life?

And what too little?

🌙

This New Moon can be a beautiful moment for a small cleanse.

Not only of the space around you, but also of your own head.

  • Put your phone away for an hour during the day.
  • Throw out or give away a few things you no longer need.
  • Finish an unfinished task.
  • Turn off notifications for the day.
  • Make room for rest.

And then check what comes up during such rest. What thoughts flow in? What emotions?

🧘‍♀️ Come back to the body

Virgo also reminds us of daily care for the body. Ways to show it love:

  • It's already autumn, so making sure our meals are warm can be a beautiful and powerful decision.
  • A walk after a meal, in the forest, in the park.
  • A few calm asanas.
  • 5 minutes of conscious breathing.
  • Going to bed at 10 pm.
  • Going for a massage or doing a self-massage
  • Time without screens.

These rituals become transformative when we repeat them often enough for them to become part of our life.

🌑 A New Moon in Virgo ritual

Find 10–15 minutes just for yourself.

Make yourself something warm to drink. Sit comfortably. You can light a candle.

Take a sheet of paper and write:

I RELEASE

(and write down one thing you want to let go)

I KEEP

(Write down one thing / habit / ritual that you feel truly supports you)

I INVITE

(Write down one thing / emotion / ritual you want to bring into your everyday life)

✨ If you're not sure yet what to write

Ask yourself:

"What can I do to connect with myself more?"

Maybe the answer will be more rest.

Maybe less chaos.

Maybe a regular yoga practice.

Maybe a boundary you were afraid to set before.

Or maybe simply accepting that not everything has to be solved right now.

  • The New Moon is the darkness before the light appears.*
  • You don't have to see the whole road yet.*
  • It's enough to consciously choose the next step.*

🌑 May this New Moon in Virgo be a return to what is simple.

To what is true.

To what truly serves you.
